Big Events!!!

National Media Market – October 24-28 in Kansas City! Once again I am bringing a bunch of different films! I am also testing out fiction this year to see how/if it is useful by bringing my own films.

A special treat is that I will have a 5-minute sample of the homeopathy documentary I’ve been shooting for 2 years and that is still in production: Full Body Centric.

Shortly thereafter, I will be attending the annual conference of the Association of University Centers on Disability on November 1 in Crystal City, VA. Both The Collector of Bedford Street and The Gillian Film will be screening in the Media Room and I’ll be there to answer questions and talk with partners about programming. Body & Soul: Diana & Kathy will be re-broadcast on PBS in October for National Disability Awareness Month! Contact your local stations and request that it be aired in your area!

Update on my own films:

Things are progressing for my homeopathy documentary Full Body Centric. I recently taped every part of the process of remedy production at Hahnemann Laboratories in San Rafael, CA. You can read more about them by going to www.hahnemannlabs.com. I’m also in talks with the National Center for Homeopathy for them to be my “fiscal sponsor” so that people can contribute donations to the project as a tax write-off.

Finally my last film, Loose Ends, has been programmed as part of the Film Directing 4 Women Film Festival in London, England September 9-12, and I will be attending! I will be in London Sept 8-13 so if you have suggestions of great media people to connect with please do forward…
